The TPX6111 series is a heavy-duty horizontal boring and milling machine intended for boring, drilling, milling, facing and thread cutting on medium to large workpieces. The horizontal spindle layout keeps large box-type parts within reach of the tool, so several faces can be machined with fewer re-clampings.

Typical configurations span several spindle diameters and table sizes, letting the machine be matched to the size and weight of the parts machined most often.

Suitable Workpieces
The horizontal layout suits large box-type castings and weldments: gearbox and reducer housings, pump and valve bodies, machine frames, generator end shields and similar parts where multiple bores must stay coaxial. It is also used for facing large flanges and milling flat mating surfaces on heavy parts.
Structural Rigidity Highlights
The bed and column are proportioned for heavy cutting, with a box-section column and ribbed bed to limit deflection under load. The spindle assembly runs in precision bearings to keep boring accuracy stable over long cuts, while the counterweight and guideway design help maintain smooth travel of the headstock.

Selection & Foundation Installation Notes
When selecting, match spindle diameter and table size to the largest and heaviest part you intend to machine, and confirm the required travels against the part envelope. The machine should be set on a rigid, level foundation with adequate vibration isolation, and alignment should be re-checked after installation.
